We invite you to the August premiere

On August 20 of this year, the premiere of the new creative work of the Shevchenko Theater is planned - the play "The Milkmaid" based on the work of modern Ukrainian playwright Oksana Hrytsenko, directed by Honored Artist of Ukraine Andriy Bakirov.
The play highlights the events that took place in the territory of the Kherson region temporarily occupied in the spring of 2022 in a family of ordinary Ukrainians. Russian soldiers set up checkpoints, and Ukrainian civilians try to adapt to life in wartime. This is a story about how war disrupts the lives and destinies of peaceful people, how extreme circumstances reveal internal character traits, temper a person's resilience and readiness to resist enemies. This is a reminder that the feeling of one's native land and family life are more important than war, although war becomes a litmus test for testing the spiritual strength of a person.
We invite Chernihiv residents and guests of the city to watch the play "The Milkmaid", the premiere of which will take place on August 20, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the premises of the Chernihiv Regional Academic Ukrainian Musical and Drama Theater named after T.H. Shevchenko.
